2015 AQHA Sorrel Stallion

"Maverick" is an AQHA sorrel stallion bred by Rafter D Ranch and wears their Rafter D brand on his left hip. He is by 2011 NCHA World Champion stallion, Bet Hesa Cat, the only World Champion Stallion at age 5 in history, the only World Champion Stallion whose dam is also a World Champion, one of only 3 stallions in history to sire an NRCHA Open Snaffle Bit Futurity Champion and Reserve Champion in the same year, 2017 Equi-Stat #2 Leading Junior Reined Cow Horse Sire, 2017 NRCHA #3 Leading Sire. NCHA $267,465.

He is out of Tari Style, daughter of 1999 NCHA horse of the year Playin Stylish, LTE $119,550, NCHA $111,330, NCHA COA, 1999 NCHA Horse of the Year, 1999 NCHA Open Super Stakes Champion, 1999 Equistat #1 Four-Year-Old Money-Earner, 1999 Augusta Open Futurity Champion who is a full brother to NCHA World Champion MR MOM DNA $155,047.

He has had 120 days professional training with Tate Halverson of TNT Horsemanship. We have received many compliments on his disposition and athleticism from those who have seen him in person. Our trainer has said the thing he likes most about Maverick is that retains everything he's taught and they can pick up right where they left off. Maverick has spent time moving cattle and this spring he'll be spending 30 days with Tate during branding season. We look forward to bringing you video and photos of Maverick at work.

Maverick has everything we are looking for in a sire with his great disposition, athleticism, conformation and breeding.
