"Joaker" is an AQHA cremello gone grey stallion bred by Lee Lopez of South Dakota and wears his Rafter A brand on his right hip. He is by stallion, Three Bars Frost, a Hunt Ranch stallion. Three Bars Frost is a well-muscled, good-boned stallion, with a nice head. On his dam’s side are horses with good, trainable dispositions that made many outstanding using horses.

Joaker is the grandson of PC Sun Joaker, who is also owned by Hunt Ranch. PC Sun Joaker was used for barrels, poles, and for break away and heeling by the Hunts.

Joaker sold at the 39th Annual Lopez, Meyer & Lauing Quarter Horse Production Sale as a weanling. As a foal he was born palomino colored with blue eyes and distinctive white markings.

We purchased Joaker in 2021 after losing our stallion, RD Bet Hesa Catari, in 2020. Joaker is able to be pastured with other stallions and geldings. He’s also been used as a babysitter for yearlings. His previous owners had nothing but good things to say about Joaker’s personality and disposition. When we purchased him the plan was to use him for 2 or 3 breeding seasons until the stallion we bought to replace Maverick was old enough. We are very fond of Joaker but we just don't have the room or number of mares to justify running 2 stallions.

In the summer of 2022, we were contacted by someone who owns a maternal half-brother to Joaker and we learned that he was currently in training for barrel racing. They said he was working very well with his trainer.

We have spent a lot of time with Joaker over the last few years and we are very impressed with him. He is very intelligent and respectful. He does an amazing job as a stallion. He is great with the foals, even those who are by other stallions. He is great with the mares, keeping them in line, looking out for them in the pasture, his breed up rate is impeccable. The foals themselves are impressive, they have great body, great bone, very inquisitive but respectful. Joaker was not started under saddle before coming to us in 2021.

Color Results explanation:
Joaker's color results are based on color tests. Joaker is a Cremello Splash who has gone Gray. Gray does not show up on a double dilute so he presents as cremello. Joaker’s Extension is e/e which means that he is only able to produce red (sorrel) based foals. His Agouti is A/A which means that he can only produce Bay foals. Being a double dilute means that he carried two (2) cream genes which means that he will always give one cream to all of his offspring; because of this and him being A/A he can only produce palominos or buckskins but never a smokey black. He also carries one (1) copy of the Gray gene as well as one (1) copy of Splash SW1. With his color results you are guaranteed color.
