💥 Client Update 💥

Here is another video that was sent to me by Hawk's family. This was his first time with a halter on. They said:

"He did better than that, giving nicely to pressure so I’d release quickly, but that was the video I got. First time with a halter! Period!

I put the rope around his neck and let him figure out the pressure would release as soon as he stopped trying to get away. We did that 3 times before he stopped trying to get away. He figured it out quickly! Then I put the halter on, and no reaction. He really figured it all out fast!!

I’ve just been working on earning his trust and making sure he’s comfortable with me doing whatever, so I decided it was halter time, and no big deal once I went for it!"

I am starting to hone in on the pedigrees that compliment Joaker's and I am really liking what I am seeing.

When they sent this video they said:

"He got completely fascinated by that zipper yesterday, and he would not leave me alone until he had managed to unzip the whole thing, I think he was convinced that I had hidden treats that he needed to have.

He shows us all the time how intelligent he is, that he’s always observing and figuring things out. He doesn’t just react blindly and flip out about things, he’s quite sensible. But he’s so playful too! He just likes to goof around, as your pictures of him this summer playing with that mare’s tail prove. Between him and Two Hearts, when the horses are bored they are pretty funny just standing around me figuring out things to keep themselves entertained."

I feel like Hawk found the perfect fit for him. Thank you so much for sharing with us and I look forward to more!

Lady now Miss Kitty left for her new home today. It was hard watching this one go and I forgot to snap a farewell picture so one from her last pasture session before weaning will have to do. She has one of the sweetest personalities and I think her new family is absolutely going to love her. 🩷
