    “Luna” is a 15.2HH AQHA dunskin (Buckskin Dun) mare bred by Goetz Ranch. She is sired by RFF Starbuck (deceased 2015), he was 5 panel and LWO N/N. At the time he was born AQHA did not allow double dilutes to be registered with the association so he was registered with the American Paint Horse Association. He was registered as an APHA Breeding Stock Paint and showed on the APHA circuit. The RFF in his name stands for Red Fox Farms which is the farm where he was raised and shown. His accomplishments include:

    - 1999 APHA Superior Halter Horse Honor Roll #1

    - Points in HUS, HOF, WP

    His offspring are showing in multiple disciplines including, Showmanship, Ranch Riding, Western Pleasure, Trail, Hunt Seat Equitation, Sport Horse and more.

    RFF Starbuck goes back on his dam’s top side to King Fritz (AQHA Show H-14/P-23.5) an AQHA Champion who earned points in Reining, Western Riding and Western Pleasure. His impact can still be seen in areas in the form of Chex.

    On his dam’s bottom side, he goes back to running bred stallion, Mr Sen Sen, AQHA Race SI-95, AAA, ROM, 21-4(1)-2-2 $6,613, Stakes Winner, won: Bay Meadows Juvenile Championship and AQHA Show H-29, Open AQHA Champion.

    Luna is out of BH Mountainshot, whose sire’s lineage goes back to Roan Bar, a 1955 stallion who was brought to South Dakota from Texas to establish a new line of ranch and performance horses in South Dakota. BH Mountainshot’s paternal grandsire, Snips Roan Baker, has produced offspring being used as head and heel horses, for ranching, roping and team penning. His lineage is still being used for ranching and roping. She also goes back to Sak Em San a PRCA rope horse who was sired by world cutting champion Peppy San.

    Her dam’s top side goes back to AQHA & NCHA World Champion, Peponita, NCHA LTE $120k+, producing money earning offspring in NCHA, NRHA, NRCHA and Halter. On her bottom side she goes back to AQHA stallion Boston Mac whose accomplishments include:
